It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Charko of North Battleford, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Emil; her children-in-law, Jeff Brouwer and Kristy Charko; her siblings, Minnie Goyan (John), Rose Nykiforuk (Walter) and Uhan Ewanchuk; her in-laws, John Charko (Natalie), Sonia (John Michayluk) and Mike Charko; her nieces and nephews, Elsie Nychyk, Adaline Green, Dale, Dennis Ewanchuk, Julian Goyan and Russell Michayluk; her parents, Nick Ewanchuk and Mary Ewanchuk; and also Sawela.

She is survived by: her son Terry Charko; her grandson Michael; her daughter Zora Brouwer (Patrick Lamoureux); her grandchildren, Tim (Michelle) and Lindsey (Dakota Downham); her great grandchild Colson; and her sister-in-law Anne Ewanchuk.

Memorial donations in Sylvia's loving memory may be made to the BUH Foundation – PO Box 1358 North Battleford, SK S9A 3L8 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
