He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Theresa Reader (Heffernan); and his son David George Reader. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Reader (Shawna) and Linda Heaslip (John); his daughter-in-law Yoon Reader; his grandchildren, Kimberlee Teklenburg (Evan), Christopher Hrabinsky (Leah), Cian, Cormac, Brennan, Coleman and Keeley; and his great grandchildren, Bradley, Lucy and Rory.
