He was predeceased by: his son Evan Redcalf; his grandson Wade Whitehead; his parents, Mary Frances Moccasin and Francis Moccasin; his grandparents, Sam, Minnie Moccasin, Alex and Emma Katcheech; his siblings, Leo Sr., Archie, Eliza, Louisa and Edna; his sisters-in-law, Ada and Katie; his aunts, Isobel Ben, Mary Ann Katcheech, Mary Atcheynum and Cecile Gopher; and his uncle Toby Katcheech.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Redcalf; his children, Sabrina (Gonz), Samantha (Clark), Muriel (Adrian), Chester (Michelle), Jordan, Marcella, Colin (Randine), Tamara, Petrina, Justin, Tiffany (Alexander), Robin, Sonya and Shiralee; and his siblings, Gary, Dennis (Dorothy), Amy (Leo), Doris and Stanley. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
