He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Ellis and Lillian Ellis; and his siblings, Bruce, Rick and Nancy.

He is survived by: his sisters, Wendy Percifield (Ross), Marlene Emara (Moe) and Marilyn Aries; his nephew Robert Christensen (Joelle); his nieces, Christina and Isabel Dennis; his great-nephew Jordan; and his great-niece Brelynn. He is also survived by his sisters, numerous cousins, friends.
