Lorne Gazdewich Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 74, Lorne Gazdewich of Norquay, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Gazdewich and Nettie Gazdewich (Anastasia); his wife Marlene Zinchuk; his common-law partner Sharon; his parents-in-law, Harry and Mary Zinchuk; his brothers, Tim Gazdewich and Gerald Gazdewich; his siblings-in-law, Barry Danielson, Lawrence Wayde, Dmytro Dzaman and Marlene Gazdewich; and his great-nephew Matthew Fullawka.

He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; his friend Marlene; his son-in-law Michael; his grandchildren, Steven, Silas and Asher Guillet; his siblings, Brent Gazdewich, Delwyn Gazdewich (Marilyn), Cori Wade (Ken), Cindee Danielson (Wally), Colleen Gazdewich and Clarissa Mydonick (Dwayne); his siblings-in-law, Lorne Zinchuk, Eddie Balyski (Carol) and Lydia Dzaman; and his nieces, Melanie Zinchuk, Cheryl Wayde and Darlene Fullawka. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Lorne Gazdewich.
