We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2023, at the age of 92, Dorothy Griffith of Norquay, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Evans and Kathleen Evans; her son Elwin (Sherry); her husband Melvin James Griffith; and her sister Yvonne.
She is survived by: her daughter Ida McLeod (Kent); her granddaughter Melanie; her great grandchildren, Kelsey (Marco) and Sara; her grandchildren, Ryan (Desirae), Emma and Mitchell (Nikki); her daughter Nina Johnson (Norman); her grandchildren, Rebecca Barnaciuc (Pavel), Miriam, James, Levi, Charlene Wolf (Chad), Henrik, Auston, Zoe, Grant Norah (Makayla), Donovan, Skyler Hahn (Jason), Boden, Wesley, Mackenzie, Travis (Sydney), Karlee (Brayden) and Bennett; her sister Eileen Freed (Ken); and her sister-in-law Bernice Wyatt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Dorothy was a devoted member of the United Church, even learning how to attend via phone and online during Covid.
Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Palliative Care Room - Norquay Health Center Auxiliary or to the Norquay United Church – Memorial Fund, as tokens of remembrance in memory of Dorothy Griffith.
