He was predeceased by: his father Peter; his brother Roger; his parents-in-law, Olive and Werner; and his sister-in-law Cindy.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his sons, Terence (Anita) and Derrick (Jen); his grandchildren, Zach, Teneille (Harvey), Ben and Ellie; his mother Eleonora; his siblings, Stuart (Patty), Tim (Janine) and Fern; and his brothers-in-law, Darren and Brian (Cindy). He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made "In memory of Tony Schmidt" to the Canadian Lung Association or the Saskatchewan Cancer Foundation.
