He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Olson and Oliver Olson; his brothers, Vernon (Lavera), Virgil (Gladys) and Glenn (Darleen); his brothers-in-law, Elroy Nelson and Russell Tasa; and also, Olaf and Sadie Tasa.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Tasa; his children, Marvin, Marj and Sharlene Serhan (Randy); his grandchildren, Alicia (Randall), Cole, Sharyl Bigelow (Murray), Jennifer (Marty), Kali (Greg) and Kelly Olson (Therza); his children, Brett, Tiffany (Spencer), Ashton, Steven Olson, Tyler and Kelsey (Dillon); his brother Lenus Olson (Frances); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Joel, Emily Carriere, Dawson, Kendall Cayen, Ayla Olson and Ella Staffen. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
