He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Bergren and Myrtle Bergren; his sister Shirley Crockett; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Bruce and Linda Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Newton; his children, Sol (Elise Normand), Robin (Vivian Wong) and Alyssa (Jacob); his sisters, Doreen Bruce and Karen Nontell (Howard); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Newton (Tammy Zajac) and Tom Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
