He is survived by: his stepdaughter Katja McCord (Chad); his stepgrandchildren, Julia, Creedon, Keelyn and Shanelle; his stepson Anders Wheeler (Michelle); his stepgrandchildren, Roch, Adelle and Lilah; his brothers, Dennis DeRoo, Wayne DeRoo (Carol) and Dean DeRoo (Cheryl); his uncle Lawrence Allemeesch (Marilyn); and his wife Jan. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
