He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Pauline. He is survived by: his wife Gabriela Bazlikova; his sister Joan Eremko of Regina; his stepchildren, Dora Dixon, Gabi Lindenbach (Josh) of Saskatoon and Albert Orban (Tammy) of Drayton Valley, AB; his uncle Gene; and his aunt Joyce Krawchuk of Scottsdale. He is also survived by four cousins.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service was held.
