She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Bender and Philip Bender; her husband William Frick; her son-in-law Arthur Gartner; her sisters, Lillian and Pearl (Wilbert Patzwald); and also Ronald Bender.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Nordin of Edmonton, Greg Frick (Ellen) of Whitewood, Darrell Frick (Janice) of New Westminster and Brenda Frick (Gartner); her grandchildren, Rachel McConnell (Adam), Graham Frick (Kristen) and Jaclyn Gartner (Alex); her great grandchildren, Liv and Hali McConnell; and her brothers, Glenn Bender, Bill Bender and Art Bender. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, funeral service attendance will be by invitation only.
