He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hanson and Grace Hanson; his brothers, Mervin, Glenn, Eugene and Harold; his stepfathers, Willie Peterson and Bill Wood; his daughter-in-law Jennine Hanson; his uncle Clarence Zarn; his aunt Bernice Heydey; and his cousin Ernest Heydey.
He is survived by: his wife Fyrne Hanson; his children, Dennis (Sybrena), Wayne (Maureen), Ken (Joy), Gord (Sally), LeeAnne Foreman (Dave) and Kerri Hysuick (Scott); his grandchildren, Mandy, Amber, Dustin, Katelynn, Christian, Jason, Travis, Dana, Ryan, Brandie, Brad, Rob, Mike, Nick and Braeden; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Hanson and Raeona Hanson.
