He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gordon Beattie and Jessie Eliza Beattie (Vennard); his sisters, Norma (late Cecil Westcott) of Whitewood, SK and June (Digby Williams) of Ottawa, ON.; and his great-niece Tricia Blyth.
He is survived by: his sister Doreen (Andre-Jean Charron) of Orleans, ON; his nieces, Linda (Allan Blyth) of Whitewood, SK, Karen Williams (Ken Boden) and Lauri Williams of Ottawa, ON.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Derek Blyth (Kari), Craig Blyth, James Blyth (Darci) and Athan Stone; and also, Hudson, Jeremy Blyth (Emily MacKenzie), Gage Taylor, Alix Blyth, Amaya, Zane Blyth, Kullea, Aliah, Skye Blyth and Sophie.
