He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Starnes and Luella Starnes; his siblings, Ron Starnes (Shirley), Willie Starnes and Mary Campbell (John); his in-laws, Wayne Barrick (Jean) and Rosetta Barrick; his son-in-law Dean Muller; his grandson Maison Muller; his son-in-law Kevin Hackl; and his nieces, Theresa Hillard and Lisa Brumbelow.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Starnes; his children, Christina Husband (Mark), Cheryl Elford (Glen), Gwendalee Woody (Carl), Calvin Starnes (Kim) and Kemberlee Hoeppner (Paul); his brother Lyle Starnes (Shirley); and also Rastus. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.
