He is survived by: his wife Doreen Fowler; his son Harry (Deb); his grandsons, Courtney and Kade; his daughters, Barb (Bryan) and Brenda (Rick); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Dustin), Rebekka (Curtis), Marlee and Ray (Ireland); his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Owen, Ripley, Tucker, Kallie, Rekyn, Blakely, Emerson and Shia; his brothers, Howard and Henry (Joan); and his sisters-in-law, Jeannine and Myra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Moosomin & District Healthcare Foundation for the Moosomin Nursing Home, in memory of Elden.
