He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Johnstone and Betty Johnstone; his brother-in-law Garry Miller; and also, Jake and Carrie Schweitzer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Scott (Julie) of Moose Jaw and Cathy Donald (Scott) of Regina; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Johnstone (Tyler Thiessen) of Saskatoon, Camryn Donald (Carter Ramler) of Regina, Melissa Donald of Regina and Kirstie Johnstone of Moose Jaw; his siblings, Char Francis of Moose Jaw and Bill Johnstone (Lynn) of Moose Jaw; and his sister-in-law Judy Miller (Gerry Schmidt) of Regina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
