He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy Knights (Knights); his wife Margaret; his parent Charlie Kettle (Ernest Knights); his brother Garry Knights; his son Paul (Anna); and his grandsons, Bryon and Lorenzo.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn; his granddaughter Kristina (family: Curtis); his great grandchildren, Connor, Kellen and Declan; and his sister Barbara Kelso.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (1804 Caribou St W, Moose Jaw, SK S6H7M4). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name be made to the Cancer Society, 200-325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
