It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin Horatchka of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, born in Roblin, Manitoba, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Horatchka and Vera Horatchka. He is survived by: his children, Adam (Cassandra), Matthew and Krista (Jason); his grandchildren, Samuel, Emmett, Abigail and Hudson; and his sisters, Evelyn McRoberts (Gary), Darlene Ibey (Don), Jane Bibe (Tim) and Joyce Slone (Ervin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Merv's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 100-119 14 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
