He was predeceased by: his mother Hilda Joan; his brothers, Dennis, Ivor and Eddie; and his father Edward.

He is survived by: his wife Dalise; his sisters, Glynis Swigelaar, Natalie Brown (Eldred) and Hayley Beets (Wayne); his parents-in-law, Dale Jones and Louise Svingen; and his sister-in-law Roslyn Hector. He is also survived by uncle/ great uncle, twenty nieces and nephews.
