He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Kemp and Jane Kemp; his daughter Beverly Kemp; his brothers, Gerald Kemp (Gail) and Brian Kemp (Darlene); his daughter Janice Colliness; his stepchildren, Keith Knudson, Karen Zappa (Glen), Albert Knudson, Neil Knudson, Roy Knudson and Marty Knudson (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Raela Colliness (Kealin Bleakly), Jud Colliness, Cord Colliness, Jesa Colliness and Ella Biette.

He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Kemp (Marg), Donald Kemp, Doug Kemp, Darlene Kemp and Bonnie Hagley (Neil). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
