Bonnie Jean Gruell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Jean Gruell (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm MacKinnon (Scotty) and Edith Brown; her son Brian Thomas Brown Gruell; her granddaughter Chelsea Peterson; her siblings, Muriel Hallett, Ruth Kober (Eddie), Gord Brown (Ellen) and Walter Brown (Beverley); and her brother-in-law Vern Ritchie.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, John Gruell (Evelyn), Nettie Gould, Rose Kaye, Isabel, Elizabeth DuSomme and Jean Scott; her husband Earl Gruell; her daughter Katherine Deak (Levente); her grandchildren, Levana and Kaleb; her son Kenneth Gruell (Lorelei); her grandson Nicholas Gruell (Krystal); her great grandchildren, Riley, Avery and Rowan; her siblings, Elsie McNeilly (Ivan), Mary Ritchie, Malcolm, Mic Brown (Lynne), Colin Brown (Grace), James, Jim Brown, Rodney Brown (Bonnie Lea), Heather McMillan (David), Ronald and Buck Brown (Cheryl Hanna); her sisters-in-law, Patti, Erna, Bernie, Eldeen, Lydia and Peggy; and also, George Gruell (Betty), Dan Gruell (Jackie) and Elaine Willetts (Stan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Donations in Bonnie's name may be made to the Cancer Foundation, Autism Resource Center, or the Recreation Department of a Long-Term Care facility.
