He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Simpson and Mary Simpson; his siblings, William, Edwin, Allan and Mary Elizabeth; his parents-in-law, Wesley and Mary Benson; his sisters-in-law, Velma Veeder and Esther Rempfer; and his granddaughters, Rochelle Simpson and Jennifer Corey.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Benson; his children, Bev Corey (Chad Altenhofen), Randy Simpson (Cindy), Judy Watson (Shane) and Kevin Simpson (Shyla Latham-Blaine); his grandchildren, Donya Corey, Shianne Crichlow, Krystal Watson, Chantal Chiu, Janelle Simpson, Michael Simpson, Joel Simpson, Leah Watson, Brett Watson, Zachary Watson, Christan Barker of Demara Dueck, C. J, Thomas Simpson, Dakota Latham-Bell and Kayla Bell; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Elliot, Eleanor Fennuik, Ronald Benson and Robert Benson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
