He was predeceased by: his parents, Zach Hicke and Gertie Hicke; his parents-in-law, Annie Kitchen and Ben Runzer; his sister-in-law Sandra Bokamyer; and his brother Wilfred Runzer.

He is survived by: his wife Rosanna; his brothers, Jerry (Leona), Ralph (Lorna) and Kelvin (Joanne); and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Runzer (Sandra) and Karen Runzer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
