She was predeceased by: her parents, Torger Tysseland and Anna Tysseland (Lein); her husband Marvin Hoium; her son Leslie Hoium; her siblings, Norman, Oscar, Henry, Harold, Alfred, Esther (Grant), Agnes (Schindel), Borghild and Myrtle; and her siblings-in-law, Gene Grant, Paul Schindel, Gladys Marie, Phyllis and Marla.

She is survived by: her daughter Lynda Savenkoff (Greg); her grandchildren, Richelle (Mark), Mark (Tina), Preston, Ashton and Kaity; her son Larry Hoium (Lorrie); her grandchildren, Derek Hoium (Jamie), Jace, Drew Hoium, Sheri Hoium and Bryan Hoium; her siblings, Gladys Ector (Don) and Dave Tysseland; and her sisters-in-law, Anita Tysseland and Ione Tysseland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
