He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Opperman; his parents, Norman Opperman and Georgina "Ina" Opperman; and his siblings, Robert, George, Norman, Olive, Verna and Lyla.
He is survived by: his sister Georgina Pilling (Clarence); and his siblings-in-law, Art Jorgensen, Merle Jorgensen, Delia Jorgensen and Joyce Opperman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
