She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Melnyk and Pearl Melnyk; her husband Bill Stecyk (Bill); her son Dave Stecyk; her son-in-law Allan Green; and her siblings, Sophie Rygus (Bill), Sylvia Melnyk, Joe, Raymond and William Melnyk.

She is survived by: her children, Sheron Schmidt (Grant) of Melville, Marianne Weber (Bob) of Martensville, Karen Ottenbreit (Howard) of Nanaimo, BC, Doris Green and Don Stecyk (Terri-Lynn) of Melville; her daughter-in-law Laura Stecyk of Regina; her grandchildren, Alicia, Kurt, Stacey, Erinn, Luke, Chelsey, Megan, Mathew, Shelby and Ian; and her sisters-in-law, Alexandra Melnyk, Irene Melnyk and Margaret Stecyk.
