She was predeceased by: her husband Colin Ireland; her parents, Bill Sawchyn and Anne Sawchyn; her siblings, Billy (Violet), Russell, Edward and Gladys Augustine; her grandson Cory Ireland; her children-in-law, Rod Harms and Louise Ireland; her brothers-in-law, Jack Augustine and Paul Lazurko; and her grandson-in-law Derek Meyers.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Ireland, Beverly Ireland-Harms, Brent Ireland (Anne-Marie) and Tammy Broda (Frank); her grandchildren, Renae Grychowski (Ron), Laurie Ireland, Melissa Kirwan (Steve), Lindsay Schweitzer (Craig), Kyle Broda (Amber), Sarah Ireland-Harms (Ethan), Anders Ireland (Brooklyn) and Tanner Ireland-Harms; her sister Elsie Lazurko; and her sister-in-law Marge Sawchyn. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Memorials in memory of Nettie may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Paul Lutheran Home as gifts of remembrance.
