He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sawchin and Mary Sawchin; his brother Al Sawchin; and his former wife Janet. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Stradeski (Janet); his friend Esther Dales; his children, Richard Sawchin (Suzy), Karen Stonechild and Tyrone Sawchin (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Naiomi Henry, James Sawchin (Taylor Bye), Bryant Stonechild and Amanda Stonechild; his sisters, Joan Sparks and Marge Ortynski; and his close friend Evelyn Halushka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
