He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Appel and Julia Appel; his daughter Cheryl; his wife Marguerite Schouten; and his brothers, Bill, Vern and Arnold.
He is survived by: his son Keith (Donna) of Moose Jaw, SK.; and his sisters, Alvina and Freda.
