David Delainey Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Delainey (Melville, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 27, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Paulette; his parents, Fredrick Delainey and Ann Delainey; his children, Calvin Delainey and Charmaine Delainey; his brother Dale Delainey; his parents-in-law, Louis and Helen Sittler; his brother-in-law Kenneth Helm; his niece Tammy Delainey; his nephew Darrell Sittler (Brent Silvernagle); and his great-nephew Brandon Sittler.

He is survived by: his daughter Natalie Conquergood (Allen); his grandchild Kennedy Conquergood (Colby Erhardt); his children, Brooklyn Wenet (Riley), Harper, Amelia and Arlene Osicki (Gerard); his grandchildren, Tenielle Boogaard (Martin), Alice and Max; his children, Joel Sieben (Katelyn), Madison Harrold (Matthew), Penelope and Duane Delainey (Tracy); his granddaughter Brooklyn Launders (Lee); his children, Eric Asbjornhus (Nicole) and Ayva Delainey; his sister-in-law Sarah Delainey; his niece Lorelei Heibert (Kevin); his nephew Jason Delainey (Audrey); his sister Lynn Helm; his nephews, Chad Helm (Jessica) and Shane Helm (Carla); and his niece Vanessa Driedger (Darcy). He is also survived by his brothers in law and sisters in law, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.

A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the St. Henry's Roman Catholic Church (729 Main St, Melville, SK S0A2P0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Henry's Church Memorial Fund, as Mass Offerings or to St. Henry's Parish Cemetery as gifts of remembrance.
