He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Tkachuk and Margaret Tkachuk; his parents-in-law, Willard and Laura Rosvold; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Romaniuk and William Matisz; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Elsie Tkachuk; his son Jim; and his grandchildren, Colton Tkachuk and Sierra Carriere.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Tkachuk; his children, Lorri Jung (Rob) and Deborah Leicht (Sheldon); his grandchildren, Cody, Stephanie, Landon, Jason, Kaden, Somer, Addison, Karson, Kyran and Brielle; and his great grandchildren, Annie, Alice, Parker, Rylan, Sister Reta Matisz and Charlotte Matisz. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
