He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Gunter (Cuba) and Cuba Gunter (Isaacs); his siblings, Wayne, Mervin, Austin, Ellis, Lois and Maude; his daughters, Faye and Patti; and his siblings-in-law, Evange and Ed Williams.

He is survived by: his children, David (Rhonda), Susan (Pat), Lois and Glen; his grandchildren, Clay, Meg, Angella, Shane, Jenna, Nicola, David, Chanelle and Lexi; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Brett, Ty, Ryker, Lily, Kaceyn, Izabel, Tyton, Ariannda and Hazel; his siblings, Artis and Elwood (May); and his sisters-in-law, Betty and MariLou. He is also survived by his children, grand children and great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Silver Park Community Hall.
