He is survived by: his wife Gloria Misskey; his sons, Matthew (Shauna Misskey), Michael (John Forabosco), Russell (Sharon Misskey), Robert (Lisa Misskey), Bradley (Effie Misskey) and Brian (Anna Misskey); his nephews, Mel and Rocky Purves; and his sister Grace Hills.

Ron took pride in having his name on the commemorative plaque at the door of Parkland Place recognizing his contribution to the project.
