It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Lorraine Scott (Melfort, Saskatchewan), who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Uffelman and Mary Uffelman; her former husband Clayton Scott; her daughter Valerie Chartrand; her son-in-law Mike Chartrand; her great grandchild Kyle Buchberger; her son-in-law Elmer Buchberger; and her half-sister Ruth Hoffschneider (Oriville).
She is survived by: her spouse Thaxted; her grandchildren, Barry Buchberger (Cheryl), Gary Buchberger (Sheila), Adam Heavin (Meredith), Ashley Heavin (Rob), Michelle Sabet (Darioush) and John Chartrand (Gabrielle); her great grandchildren, Heather Porth, Rikki Lornson (Colton), Daniel Buchberger, Chelsea Buchberger, Gyleasa, Mikayla, Evan Heavin, Rozlynn Gaudet, Ahmad, Mishkin and Vahid Sabet; her great great grandchildren, Jazmyn Porth, Charlie Florence, Otto and Ellie Lornson; her sister Elaine Mansfield; her siblings-in-law, Audrey Ashmead, Shirley Geddes (Dave) and Irving Scott (Alice); her siblings, Elroy Uffelman (Agnes), Evelyn Avison (Pat), Leona Campbell (Ken) and Norman Uffelman (Donna); and her siblings-in-law, Chester Scott, Verne Scott, Colin Ashmead, Dave Mansfield and Irene Bowd.
