He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Betty, Anne and Frank; his aunt Brenda; and his uncle Les.

He is survived by: his daughter Leila; his parents, Allan and Kathy; his brothers, Scott and Trevor (Chloe); and his grandfather Jim (Gail). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Lee may be directed to further his daughter Leila Oar's education.
