He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Peterson and Ellie Peterson; his grandparents, Peter, Dora Peterson, William and Sarah Fisher; his stepgrandmother Maureen Fisher; his mother-in-law Betty Kager; his sister-in-law Gaylene Kager; and his nephew Dylan Peterson.

He is survived by: his significant other Linda Kager; his brother Carl; his father-in-law Frank Kager (Bev); his brothers-in-law, Curtis Kager (Tracey), Teagan, Rylee, Michael Kager (Shelley), Emilee and Nolan; and also Frank. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
