He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Carlson and Emma Carlson; his son Kevin; his aunt Edna Fidyk; his brother-in-law Donnie Bunnah; and his aunt Clare White.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Edmonds); his siblings, Dianne Bunnah of Airdrie, Keith (Margie) of Lac Vert, Doreen Flath (Art) of Radisson and Blaine (Kathy) of Campbell River, BC; his aunt Gretta Cropper of Melfort; his daughter-in-law Darcelle Broderick of Lethbridge, Alberta.; his grandchildren, Kristopher (Stephanie) of Eckville and Kassandra (Corey) of Lethbridge; and his great grandchildren, Jaxyn and Kinsley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to a charity of one's own choice.
