He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Klein and Katherine Klein (June); his siblings, John, James, Catherine and Marlene; his parents-in-law, Calvert and Irene Irving; and his brother-in-law Ray.

He is survived by: his sons, Derek Ryan and Devin Gregory (Carolyn); his wife Myrna; his grandchildren, Makayla, Abby, Mason, Eli and Noah; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Lincoln and Lennox; his siblings, Gloria (Elmer) and William (Memory); and his siblings-in-law, Cameron (Betty Anne), Donna, Debbie (Jim) and Shelly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
