He was predeceased by: his son Timmy; his brother Melville "Jude" (Catherine Healey); and his parents-in-law, Carl, Edith Tondell, Richard, Myrtle Tondell, Roy Berstad, Ester and Orville Persing.

He is survived by: his wife Elvy Tondell; his sons, Brent (Marlene), Mark (Susan) and Scott (Tracey); his grandchildren, Michael Healey (Crystal), Benjamin Healey (Taylor), Janell Rempel (Roger), Nicole Christian (Daniel), Lisa Loewen, James Healey (Molly Mason) and Katlynn Healey; his great grandchildren, Declan, Jericho Healey, Lillian, Myra, Alaina Rempel, Levi, Hannah, Henry, Sophia Christian and Miles Loewen; his siblings, Allan "Bud" Healey (Ruth), Pearl Keib (Walt) and Marlene Stegeman (Lyle); and his siblings-in-law, Emmie Berstad, Raymond and Judy Tondell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
