He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Roles (Francis Roles). He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Hallman, Louella Kalinski (Saskatoon) and Glen Roles (Humboldt); his spouse Shirley Freistadt; his children, Nadine, Sherri (Paul) and Craig; his grandchildren, Todd, Shaylene, Morgan, Amanda, Alissa and Kayla; and his aunt Dianne.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church (104 Crawford Ave W, Melfort, SK S0E1A0).
