He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Hanson; his grandparents, Lawrence, Lenore Hanson, Edwin and Blanche Malm; and his mother-in-law Arlene Jackson.

He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Hanson; his wife Valerie Jackson of Tisdale; his son Andrew; his sisters, Tracie James (Shane) and Jylene Newberry (Tyrel); and his nieces and nephews, Cody Hanson (Tessa), Sven Hanson, Karsyn Dudgeon (Jordan), Tyren, Dawson, Sydney, Conner Newberry, Tyson and Curtis Mcdermid. He is also survived by many Aunts and Uncles and cousins.

Friends so wishing may make memorial contributions Diabetes Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
