He is survived by: his daughter Kris Samson of Melfort; his close friend George Michalow; his wife Lynda; his grandchildren, Bryana, Alyssa and Jesse; his great grandchildren, Mattieus and Daegen; and his sisters, Arla Hutton of Hanover and Catherine Ritchie of Sarnia, Ontario..

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
