She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnott Currie and Frieda Currie; and her siblings, Margaret Blocka, Lloyd Currie and Gretta Avison.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald (Helga), Beverley, Andrew (Betty), Barbara (Ric) and Stuart (Carol). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
