We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2023, at the age of 89, Shirley Joyce Schmidt (Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Davies and Agnes Davies. She is survived by: her friend Shirley; her children, Carmen Nickel (Oral), Carl Schmidt (Yvonne), Ward Schmidt, Laurel Swerdan (George) and Kelly Schmidt (Christine); her grandchildren, Adam Nickel, Amy Nickel, Darren Schmidt, Shawn Schmidt (Megan), Christina Schmidt, Samantha Schmidt and Simon Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Ayden, Keira and Hayley Schmidt; her siblings, Peggy Donison (Sally Schmidt), Sharon Heilman (Edward), Helen Davies (Dorothy Davies), Stanley Davies, David Davies, Beverley Baily and Patricia Davies; and her brothers-in-law, Roy Donison, Tony Schmidt and Bud Bailey. She is also survived by Sisters-in-Law and Brothers-in-Law, as well as many Nieces, Grandnieces, Nephews and Grandnephews.
