He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sr. Szpakowski and Alexandra Szpakowski. He is survived by: his wife Julia Szpakowski; his children, Peter Szpakowski (Louella) and Mary Ann Chapple (Greg); his grandchildren, Matthew Szpakowski (Jewels), Lesya L'Heureux (Cody), Kyle Chapple and Brandon Chapple; his great grandchildren, Estelle, Kayce Szpakowski, Eli and Wren L'Heureux; his siblings, Vera Balych, Anne Krasicki (Bill), John Szpakowski (Marg) and Paul Szpakowski Jr. (Irene); his godchildren, Peter Shkopich, Merena Novlan and Kathy Dopko-Esler; his sister Olga Korejbo; his brothers-in-law, John Korejbo and Mike Balych; his great-niece Janelle Korejbo; and his great-nephew Stephen Weiers (Sask). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the All Saints Orthodox Church (302 2 St E, Meadow Lake, SK S9X1G5). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
