He was predeceased by: his parent Ellie Lantz; his parents-in-law, John Ellenor and Velva; his aunts and uncles, John Lantz, Earl Moore, Walter Klemmer, Erick Klemmer, Sylvia Moore, Ericka Schmidt and Hilda Klemmer; his brothers-in-law, Louis Barthel and Bob Ellenor; and his nephews, Darcy Lantz, Adam Ellenor, At A Later Date and Loon River.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Lantz; his son Kyle Lantz (Leah); his grandchildren, Clayton (Kyley), Braden and Janae; his daughter Tara Furukawa (Troy); his grandchildren, Tani, Tobey, Adopted and Dominik Werber (Mathew); his siblings, Violet Lantz, Elaine Barthel, Eunice Sergent (Maurice), Donna McAllister (Frank), Larry Lantz (Charlene) and Glen Lantz (Donna); his aunts, Dorothy Lantz and Kerry Klemmer; his father-in-law Werner Schilling; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Ellenor and James Schilling (Nicole).
