He was predeceased by: his father Cliff Cooney; his father-in-law James Anderson; his grandparents, Cecil, Marion Cooney, Stanley and Ann Yablonski; his aunts, Pat Yablonski, Mary Albert and Donelda Horn; his uncle John Cooney; his cousin Curtis Albert; and his brother-in-law Bruce Guthro.
He is survived by: his stepson Skylar Cooney; his mother Carol Cooney (George); his sister Tanya Cooney; his nieces and nephews, Jesse and Nick; his sister Jill Hoffart (Travis); his nephew Tanner; his nieces, Gracie and Hailey; his mother-in-law Vena Anderson (James); his sisters-in-law, Kim Guthro (Bruce), Vena Anderson (Ray), Teri Anderson (Luc) and Melanie Anderson (Geoff); his nieces and nephews, Dylan, Jodi (Makenzie), Niki, Jamey, Genevieve, Keegan (Kirsten), Maria (Brandon), Mikaela (Richard), Jenna (Liam), Jacquelyn, Michael and Joel; and his great-nieces, Mira, Everly, Wren and Ellie. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many special friends.
