It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Kahpoonapit in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Beatrice Kahpoonapit (Eric George), Judith Kahpoonapit, Linda Kahpoonapit, Jeanette Kahpoonapit, Maurice Kahpoonapit and Glen Kahpoonapit (Ida Berland); his adoptive son Harvey Joseph; his grandchildren, Riley Kahpoonapit, Corey Kahpoonapit, Cher Singer and Claire Singer; his niece Elizabeth Sandfly; his children, Richard Kahpoonapit, Clarence Kahpoonapit and Marina Kahpoonapit; his parents, William Kahpoonapit and Mary Kahpoonapit; his grandchildren, Jared, Tracy and Jade; his great grandchildren, Cole and Lee; and his sister Esther Kahpeepeenahpaw. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren.
