She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Martell; her parents, Basil Lasas and Marie Lasas; her daughter Cassie Lasas; her stepdaughter Donna Martell; and her siblings, George Lasas, Leo Lasas, Edwin Lasas, Velma Martell, Violet Ernest and Michael Lasas.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lasas, Carl Lasas, Wayne Lasas, Lisa Chatelaine (Howard), Melina Lasas (Rusty), Mona Lasas and Vernon Lasas; her stepchildren, Joanne Martell, Alcide Martell (Mary Jane), Elizabeth Aubichon (Max), Marvin Martell, Donald Martell (Annette), Vivian Martell and Judy Martell; her sisters, Mary Lasas, Irene Lasas and Frances Lasas; and her grandchildren, Vernon Lasas, Chad Lasas, Darci Wolverine, Blaire Arcand, Raielle Fisher, Rebekah Cardinal, Andrew Lasas, Kali Daniels, Jordy Daniels and Mikayla Daniels. She is also survived by Numerous Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Step-Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Waterhen Lake First Nation Community Hall. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Waterhen Lake Community Building, Waterhen Lake First Nation.
